Fruit and Citrus Wood
A mix of local orchard woods with orange and lemon in it. The one to use if you cook fish, which around here most people do.
Because it is a mix, the aroma shifts a little between loads. People who cook often tend to like that; if you want the same smoke every time, pick a single species.

What fruit and citrus wood is good for
Fish and seafood 01
This is where it earns its place. The citrus note sits alongside fish instead of burying it, which is what a strong wood does.
Poultry 02
Chicken and duck take the sweetness well, and it browns the skin nicely without a heavy smoke.
Ovens 03
Reaches temperature well and leaves little ash. Fine for bread and pizza.
Everything we deliver
Holm oak logs 210 €/t
The best all-rounder for a log burner or open fire. Most heat per kilo and embers that last through the night.
Olive wood 140-160 €/t
Strong aroma and very little ash. The favourite for barbecues and wood-fired ovens.
Almond wood 160 €/t
Gentle, slightly sweet aroma. A good middle ground for grilling if olive is too strong for you.

Charcoal desde 6 €/saco
Marabu and holm oak charcoal for barbecues and restaurants. Embers in twenty minutes, no flame, steady heat.
What people ask us
Does it actually contain orange wood?
Yes. We sell fruit and citrus together, so a load has orange and lemon in it alongside stone fruit. If you need citrus only for something specific, tell us when you order and we will see what we can do.
Why does the smoke vary?
Because it is a mix of orchard woods and the proportions are never identical. For cooking most people count that as an advantage rather than a fault.
Is it hot enough for a burner?
It heats a room fine, but holm oak gives more heat per kilo and holds embers longer. Buy this for the cooking, not for the January nights.
